Pineywoods Nurse of the Year Awards & Recognition Program
The Pineywoods Nurse Awards & Recognition Program aims to celebrate and support nurses in rural East Texas by recognizing excellence in patient care and improving workplace morale. The program, now in its second year, has received positive feedback and support from various organizations. Donations are being collected to help cover the costs of trips awarded to deserving nurses. The organization is dedicated to empowering and supporting nurses, and is led by a new Program Committee focused on driving growth and collaboration in the Pineywoods region. Supporters are encouraged to join upcoming nurse wellness events and stay involved through the organization's newsletter.
